WHO ARE WE?
Our company was formed by Lee Downs, Lee has over 20
years experience in the construction industry, starting
in his fathers company as a trainee carpenter/glazier.
At the age of 12 he would accompany his father to his
factory unit at weekends and during school holidays,
working alongside other time served skilled tradesmen in
the unit and on site. Lee soon developed a love for the
trade which continued when he joined his fathers company
after leaving school aged 16.
After a year in the armed forces he returned to
the construction industry as a foreman.
Lee eventually worked his way up to the position
of site manager, building hundreds of properties from
bungalows to multi-storey apartment blocks. Lee has a
sound knowledge of building control regulations and NHBC,
Zurich etc standards.
Upon venturing into the buy to let market Lee
noticed the need for a more in depth inspection/snagging
service that was cost effective, freed up his time and
could offer total peace of mind for it’s clients, during
the two year new build warranty period. After contacting
several companies and failing to find the service he
required at a reasonable cost.
Lee decided to form Dundeal Properties Ltd, a
dedicated new build inspection service, for owner
occupiers and property investors, unlike any other in
the UK.
The foundation of the company comes from one
statement Lee believes in –
